One of my tamd40s won't reach upper rpms and puts out black smoke at full throttle. Was suggested to clean hull bottom from earlier forum and did that but problem still exsists. Legs are 290 dual prop. Took air filter out and seems to have good air flow, turbo turns freely.
Any ideas?

Black smoke normally indicates uncombusted fuel, in other words too much fuel compared to air.
Initial testing:
Try running it without air filter for the test purpose. I would initially check turbo pressure, it should read 0,8 kilo/bar upwards. Check also for air leakage between turbo and intercooler, and between intercooler and inlet manifold.
