1991 150 HP Mariner Magnum

Just bought a 1991 Ranger w/150 HP Mariner. Changed the plugs but noticed the plugs wires seem melted a bit, and will not idle for long in neutral without fouling out. Went on-line to buy spark-plug wires and all I seem to find is people selling the parts to make your own wires? Can you buy OEM or better yet a high performance set? Any suggestion on the poor idle problem.
 
I have a 1986 mariner 150 magnum. The motor stops running after 5 min. Its not fuel but electrical ,now the audible alarm stays on as soon as i turn the key, and my temp guage no longer works. the water pump works good. It has a quicksilver controll box. please help
