Another not peeing 1976 7.5hp question.

Here goes another not peeing question. I changed the impeller when I swapped bottoms('76) on to a '75 top. Last Monday I took it out for the first time around the lake.It was dripping ,not peeing.When I pulled out,it was barely warm. Even in the barrel the pressure wasn't all that great,since the cowl was off I just pulled the tube to check. What are the usual things to check.BTW the old impeller was solid, just half the vanes were backwards.Could be why the motor was seized?? The '75 top while having 130+ compression, was used in the salt chuck.

could be the water ports are clogged. Clean them all and recheck.

And wonders of wonders, I have nice stream from the tell-tale. After I cleaned the right angle nipple from the block,that is. I also poked the wire in the hole ,too. Thanks for the suggestion.

Last weekend I had the use of 6 hp Yamaha 4stroke kicker,boy did it have jet of water. However,the idleing and starting sure tried my stubborness and arm strength.
