1988 mariner 60 hp wiring help

I have a 1988 mariner 60 horse, can someone please tell me where the wires from the black box goes?? < the black box that is bolted to the engine> I have a 1=blue 1=brown and 1= black not hooked up. all on one side of the box, the other side is all hooked up, or maybe no where there is a wiring diagram for this? sorry but I dont even no what that box is called. thank you in advance

Post serial #.If no serial # then the colour of the wires on the other side of the switch box,if that's what it is,or it may be the tilt/trim solenoid,a pic may help.I have looked at the wiring diagrams and I can't see anything with blue/brown/black on the switch box.Have a look at that brown wire again
