oil fill plug stripped

i don't know how but i have stripped the hole where the upper screw goes where the lower gear oil comes out when you change and fill the oil. this is on my 1993 9.8 merc. the screw is fine and i have always been careful mot to over tighten but for some reason the hole where the screw goes ion is stripped. can any ony suggest a fix. fishing season is here and i don't want to run my o/b with a loose screw (no pun intended).
 
Your local parts house may have an insert that you can repair it with, just take the screw in and tell them what you are looking for, they should be able to help.
