I was hoping someone else has

I was hoping someone else has done the same as me
today while cleaning out the boat for the summer i disconnected the battery leads cleaned and graesed them before trying to start the engine
unfortunatly i changed the battery and in doing so switched the polarity
now i have no power going to the engine starter motor
could i have burnt out the solinoid to the starter or is there a fuse blown somewhere i dont know about any help would be apperciated

any idea where the fuse could be located ie in the engine as cant find one near the controls

Black box on the side of the engine. Sometimes people will re route the fuse holder outside the box.
