"hi guys,
4108 was running great. shut it down, tried to start it the next day. took along time to crank, then lit up, blew smoke, bogged down and quit.

changed racor, Cav, bled lines.....same thing, Long time cranking, fires, bogs down, quits.

poured clean fuel into racor, pumped it through lines (just in case bad fuel) bled it out side of injector pump. same problem.

got a jerry jug of clean fuel, ran hose and ball pump into racor. (incase fuel pickup in tank clogged) pumped clean, bubbless fuel, long time to crank, lights up for a few seconds, quits.

out of ideas........any help would be greatly appreciated

That sounds like a shortage of fuel or air for combustion. Suggest you check air cleaner, or remove it temporarily to ensure the engine is not starved of air. Then, turn to the fuel system. Make sure you ahve a reasonable level of fuel in the tank. Almost certain to be air in the system, so you need to check all connections including seals at filter canisters. Bleed system progressively from the tank, then any filters, then right up to the engine. If this does not stop the ingress of air, you need to go back and start again, remembering that by now you should have eliminated the probable, so are looking for the unlikely. We had a similar situation, and eventually traced it to a twisted O-ring seal on a filter canister.
Good luck, Logo.
