"i have a 1986 merc 35hp, my tank is old and i picked up a nice quicksilver 6.6 gal tank for free, question is it has the fat 2 prong square connector i believe that used for newer mercs is it ok to use this connector coming from out of the tank and the older style going to the engine. thanks for any help."
