I have a 85 hp force starts f

I have a 85 hp force starts fine idles fine when anything past a little throttle in bogs down and runs like a little past idle even at almost full throttle should I have the gas tank with vent opened or shut? what else should I check? before this trip motor ran fine 32 mph on a 16 ft bayliner capri cuddy

"For sure the tank vent must be open and check to see if the primer bulb is hard and full of fuel. I had to replace the fuel line and primer bulb because the check valve in the primer was not working properly and the bulb was sucking closed, no fuel. Just my thoughts!"
