LOCATION IS ON UPPER DRIVESHAFT HOUSING CARB SIDE(PART# 3H6-07257) SHOULD I REMOVE OR LEAVE IN PLACE SWITCH LOCK (EMERGENCEY THETHER STOP SWITCH) FOR TURNING OVER ENGINE (COMPRESSION CHECK). WILL THAT DAMAGE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM? I DONT NOTICE ANY TALK ABOUT "INGINTOR" GOOD OR BAD. ANY BODY HAVE ROUTING OF OIL IN HEAD DIAGRAM. FINALLY OWNERS MANUAL PAGE 23 STATES FLUSH ENGINE WITH HOSE AND ATTACHMENT ,RUN ENGINE AT LOW SPEED !!! ALSO STRIP AND ADJUST CARB 6 MONTHS,VALVE CLEARENCE 6 MONTHS REPLACE IMPELLER EVERY 12 MONTHS HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Yes, but not likely. It does sound like you have a fuel system problem. I would recommend taking the engine into a dealer to determine where the problem might be."

THAT). MAYBE THE PUMP WORKS HARDER PUMPING FROM 3 GAL PORTABLE. I DISCONECTED TOP TANK AND RE ROUTED HOSE FOR LESS LENGTH. AND HAVENT USED TOP TANK BEACUSE OF ETHONAL/GAS STAYING IN TANK I USE STABIL AND DUMP GAS OUT OF PORTABLE INTO AUTO AT END OF TRIP EXCEPT LEAVING 1/4 IN PORTABLE. WORSE COMES TO WORSE I MIGHT TRY TOP TANK. MOTOR DOES RUN REALLY GREAT, JUST ONCE IN A WHILE PROBLEMS. ALSO I DID THE IDLE ADJUSTMENT MY SELF JUST BY FEEL AND LSTENING FOR SEVERAL ORIGINAL PERIODS OF TESTING(NO TACH USED).STARTS COLD AFTER 2ND PULL(GRIP AT LOWEST SETTING) THEN MIDDLE WAYS LITTLE ARROW STRAIGHT UP FOR WARM/HOT STARTS AND FOR ORIGINAL WARMING UP..SOUNDS RIGHT? I BOUGHT MOTOR BRAND NEW AND HAD A HIGH IDLE ENDED UP CHOKING IT OUT/BEACUSE PUSHING CHOKE IN CAUSED HIGHER (FAST!!!) IDLE!!! BUT AS STATED GOT THAT UNDER CONTROL 10 MONTHS AGO.AND CRANKASE OIL 3MONTHS LOWER UNIT OIL AND SPARK PULG 6 MONTHS. AND MY ROUTINE NOW IS A HABIT TO SQUEESE BULB ANY TIME BEFOR STARTING MOTOR.
