"My 1991 mercury 90hp trim mot

"My 1991 mercury 90hp trim motor is bad,and I don't have the money right now to fix it,I found the screw on the side of the trim motor that lets me manually lift the motor,How do I leave it to were the motor will stay free for the time being,without letting water get into the trim motor.Thanks Rob"

"Hi Rob,that screw wont let water in.your trim motor will still be watertight as it is.that screw only turns so far,and just lets oil bypass the galleries inside"
