"The motor will run for a short time, but gas and oil mix is getting into the points, condensor and magneto housing and kills the spark. Is there a part missing or worn out to stop the fluids from getting up into the top of the motor? I have taken it apart over and over again. I can see a drain hole of some kind at the base where the crank shaft comes through the block, so I assume that the shaft should be lubricated in that area but don't really know. If it is a part missing, what is it called and where can I buy one? Or is it not really salvageable."

It sounds like the upper crank

It sounds like the upper crankshaft seal is leaking.

There should be an oil hose that attatches to a hose nipple at the bottom of the crankcase and another one at the top near the bearing. This allows oil from the bottom of the case to be drawn to the top.
