I have a Mercury outboard that

I have a Mercury outboard that I do not know the year. I have looked at serial number charts but I can not find mine. It is A112065.

"I believe it's a (Model Version) It's another way to (ID) what model you are working with. Here's an Example while looking your engine up with out using a engine serial number.

And I believe you can sometimes find that on the engines (ID) Tag by the model description.

Sorry about this, But I do not know or remember what the letters (ELPT) stand for."
