"Hello I'm new to this site and looking for a bit of help. I currently purchased a Mercury mariner 90hp motor and I want to rebuild it but not sure of what year this motor is. The Data plate is no where to be found on the Engine I did find the SN#. Can anyone please tell me what year this Engine is and maybe the what model or any other info. SN#0D298461

looks like a 94 from TMD site, merc doesn't really have a different model class just diiferent code letters

I know its a 3 cylinder 90hp and was told it was a 1999 model but not sure that it is a 99. Since the data plate is missing I just want to verify what year it is before I go tearing it a part.
Looking for the Year and Model number

Thank you for all for your help guys. Now I have another question the Model Number 7090412CT is for a Jet Style when I look it up on the Crowleymarine.com web site for parts. Now I take it that JET means jet propelled correct? If so then that is Incorrect Model Number bc mine is prop driven. Like I said I am new to this.
Just really want to make sure that this it for sure. I find it funny that one mechanic said it was a 99 model and one said it was a Earlier year. Please Help
 
A friend of mine gave me a old

A friend of mine gave me a old bass boat that had been in the yard for several years.
He wasnt sure where it came from. how do I go about getting a tag for it with out a bill of sale.
