"I just installed a new trim motor on my mercury and you can hear the motor working but it is not lifting my motor. I am guessing that it is not working due to pressure, so how do bleed the hydrolic pump to build pressure or is this not even the problem? any help would be appreciated. Thank you"

We just changed the oil on min

We just changed the oil on mine and found that we had to lift it manually the first few times to force the oil into the piston then trim up when it got to hard to lift. Took a lot of buggering around but we eventually filled the reservoir and all good.
