" What do you think of these? my "board" rudder extends too far backward, it overpowers me in fast reverse. and also steering is not very good backwards. additionally there is a jet aircraft like noise and associated vibration from the prop area which I believe is cavitation or ventilation. I also suspect the propeller to be too small, but if it were much bigger then perhaps it would ventilate even more?
I am told that tube rudders prevents cavitation and gives better control in backward driving. Also it is good protection for the prop, why is it not used a lot? "
