" I'm thinking about getting into a project with my brother and we needed some info. The boat we are looking at has a chevy 350 motor, that may or may not need to be replaced. If we decide to rebuild a motor, will any chevy 350 work, because we already have a 350 with whole lower end rebuilt, but it came out of a pickup truck. What are the differences between the vehicle motors and marine motors? Are there any websites that anyone knows of that would help in a rebuild of this type?
