"How hard is it to replace u-joints and gimble bearing. Does it require special tools. I am a fair garage mechanic and know my way around mechanics. Please advise!!
There is an audible sound when I turn the steering wheel, there may have been some water intrusion, although I don't think it was severe as there was only a tiny bit of water that came in around the shaft at the back of the motor. I made the mistake of leaving the outdrive up while it was in the water. I keep it in a covered berth year round."
