No power to the coil from the cdi

I have a '88 Honda BF75S.

I have a '88 Honda BF75S. I'm not getting power to the coil from the CDI. Power is getting to the CDI. Any ideas??

"On my '86 BF100 the green ground wire from the CDI connects under the bolt that holds the wire clamp.

The Primary from the Coil grounds through the bolts to the case, but the CDI relies on the green wire."

thanks pilotart. Now I'm getting about 3 volts at the coil. But still no spark. Any other thoughts/suggestions?
