Hi just changed out injector o

Hi just changed out injector on a 471 lowblock. Injector is labeled R60. None of the mechanics I talked to had ever head of it and it wasn't in the manual. Replaced it with a N60. Is it a rebuilt 60 injector?

It's been awhile since I worked on this stuff so I wouldn't want anyone to take my word as gospel but I'm gonna jump in and say that you are probably correct in assuming it is a rebuilt N60. Reliabilt to be more precise. Direct from the rebuild shop at Driptroit Diesel. The guys used to refer to them as "brown tags"."

"yes,R could be reliabuilt or any other company starting with R who built the injector. the referal to brown tag is only on n65 injectors because there are 2 types of n65 injectors. brown tag and white that tells you what injector timming tool to use.1.484 or 1.460"
