I have a 2008 6 HP Tohatsu 15" Shaft Motor. I need to change the gear lube and have easy access to Mercury Parts - Can I put High Performance Gear Lube in the lower unit? Mercury does not put specs on their bottle. I think it meets the spec. But Mercury does not make it easy. I already have High Performance Gear Lube for the boat - so makes it easy.
