"Looking to buy an 85merc. Seller says it is from the 1990's. The only 85hp mercs I see are from 1973-77. There is no serial # and I haven't seen it yet. Am I missing something, or is this guy way off? Thanks Bill"
 
85HP Mercs (called 850&#39

85HP Mercs (called 850's) were made in 1963 and 1964 then again between 1973-77. None made in the 90's.
