"When I saw water and exaust gases comming from the bottom of exaust bellows between the engine and the outdrive, I did not know how hard it is to install a new bellows at the engine exhaust. First of all, the replacement hose is round and the engine exhaust pipe connection at the transom is oval. The space is so small that only a person with small hands can possibly work the bellow on...and it won't go on easily.

For those who have to do this job, I will share how we did it...
1. heat the bellows end with a hair dryer so it will be the most flexible
2. pour liquid soap on the end to attach
3. work the exaust bellows on one side of the exaust pipe
4. insert an auto break adj. tool inside the bellows to help stretch the other end on
5. slide on the SS hose clamp and tighten"
