Engine was running and then suddenly shout down. Turned key and nothing. Will not crank. I checked the fuse in line with the red wire to the battery power under the cowl and it was blown. Replace it and it immediately blows when you turn the key on. Any Ideas?

you have a short somewhere. Check all wires to the battery?

Also check the wires off of the ignition as well.

On the fuse that keeps blowing. Remove the blown fuse. One end will have power applied when ignition aplied (key on engine off) and the other end of the fuse connector will be grounded wich is why its blowing the fuse. Follow that wire and see where its touching with ground. It could possibly be that the wire melted itogether with another wire. Or melted inside the harness connector. Very common. So disconnect connector and see if ground precence is still there at end of fuse connector.
