"This Bravo2X behind a Yanmar 6LP is shuddering when turning to starboard,even when idling in gear it is knocking.Any ideas,Nothing is visibly out of place. Thanks"

"the only thing i can think of is 1) a u-joint problem (bellows leak?) or, 2) something binding up in the steering linkage. Make sure the drive swings freely when disconnected to the steering linkage. Just thoughts."

Its possibly out aligment, engine and or drive unit. Normally you align the drive every year or so. And when your turning your increasing the binding or side loading, so the problem would get worse. Have someone check the alignment"

I'd be looking at the U-joints,+/or the Gimbel Bearing.........

Either Way,....
The Drive has to come Off,+ You can Check the Alignment while you're there......."
