There should be a plate on the

There should be a plate on the thermostat housing that gives you the model and serial number or it may also be on one of the rocker/valve covers.

58 = engine size 5.8
4 = 4 bbl carb
B = model released A means first, B means 2nd, etc
P = power steering or M = mechanical
R = right hand prop or L = left hand prop
MED = model year 1989"
