"Am losing my fresh water antifreeze mix- All of it. Don't see any evidence in oil, nor in bilge. Since I lost it all, I and others shy away from a head gasket. Mechanic believes it is probably the heat exchanger. I called one of the heat exchanger suppliers and stated they hadn't seen many that have ruptured and allowed fresh water to escape. Engine is 29 years old with only 2700 hours. Do you agree with mechanic?"
