"Johnson 150 1996 ... Will start up and run for a period of time and then will start to cut out and pick up right away. Sometimes will cut out completly with no spark and I wont be able to start it at all. I will wait 5-10 minutes and then it will fire right back up, but will happen again. I am able to run it at a low speed without the problem occurring as often. I am assuming it is heat related due to the warm up time. Power pack? Switch? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks"

u need to start testing the components of the ignition system

What I'm worried about is

What I'm worried about is that these components will test fine since it runs fine until it gets heated up. Should I think different?
Should I start at the ign switch first and work my way back toward the engine?
