"Has anyone used these on the Crusaders? Should I go with a stand-alone electronic distributor, or one that also needs an ignition box? Am I asking for trouble using an MSD 6m-2 box if it goes out ? Looking to upgrade from the old points that are currently on there.

"Ended up going with the Petro

"Ended up going with the Petronix; works great! Engine started much easier, idled smoother and faster - by 300 rpm's so had to back the idle screw out some. The parts store only had 1. Will install on the other engine next weekend.
