"You should get yourself a Sel

"You should get yourself a Seloc or Clymer manual, or refer to your Merc manual that came with the unit, but essentially you need to:
-hook up water to the outdrive using muffs, and warm it up for 15 minutes or so. Watch temps of the exchanger and exhaust manifolds closely! The water that comes out with the exhaust should be warm, but not scalding or steaming.
-shut down, drain the oil and change the filter
-refill with fresh Merc 25W40 oil and run for a minute or two to distribute the fresh oil
-fog cylinders on shutdown
-drain seawater side of cooling system, exchanger and exhaust manifolds. If RWC, drain block drains also
-drain and refill drive oil
-grease all drive fittings, steering, and coupler if you can
-check all other fluids and top up
-put some stabilizer in the gas
-park the boat and lower the drive
-remove the battery, or hook up trickle charger
-have a beer
Hope that helps,
Rod"
