"Hello, I need advice for changing a damper plate on 28 bertram. I have crusader 350s with 1:88-1 GEARS. Can I leave the tranny attached to bell housing. and just remove bell housing with tranny attached to it? Can this be done with motor in boat?

"Sure, as long as you remembe

"Sure, as long as you remember to remove the lower cover plate from the bell housing. You'll also need to lift and support the back of the motor since the rear mounts won't be doing anything.

You will need to remove the starter to access one bolt.
