" I have a Glastron boat with an OMC 230 (V8) petrol inboard. The boat and engine are great and it pulls away and accelerates very well. When the boat is up on the plane at 30+ knots the transmission often disengages (between 3-4000 rpm). If I let the revs settle and re-engage ahead, the boat will pull away again, and then after a while, it will dis-engage again. Anyone have any ideas what it could be? Could it be the rubber bush in the prop? JT "
