I am about to change my spark

I am about to change my spark plug leeds and would like to know if its a good idea to get silicon leeds or copper wire leeds.Is there a preferance that I should use.

Copper refers to the inner wir

Copper refers to the inner wire and silicon to the outer insulation jacket. Copper isn't the best idea for long term use in a marine environment. Stainless steel and/or graphite seems to be preferred. The aftermarket companies that supply marine wires have a pretty good description of their plug wires so my feeling is that something comparable should work just fine.
