"This board has been very help
"This board has been very helpful, thanks to all for the support. I am going to winterize my 1989 5.0 mercruiser (GM I think) and typically use the old pink antifreeze through the muffs technique, as it has worked well in the past. After I run the antifreeze through, should I also pull the drain plugs in the block / manifold? My understanding is that there are 5 plugs in this engine, two on block, two on manifolds, 1 for power steering cooler (I dont know where or what the cooler looks like.)I have also heard that it makes sense to pour some antifreeze down the large house at the thermostat housing...Is this just the biggest hose of the 4 that i believe meet at the T-stat housing?"
