Please help me select the right spark plugs

"My engine serial number is m072954 and the stern drive is 0L990142.

I removed my old plugs and they are AC MR43LTS, since I'm not the original owner, I wanna make sure I'm getting the best plugs for my engine. It's on an 02 bayliner capri 3.0L. I read somewhere on this board not to use these plugs for my engine."

I did find that the NGK TR5 is supposed to be a cross to the original AC p/n but then again, I've read a lot of horror stories about cross referencing and I would like to hear from those that have actually had the same plug like mine and went with another and is happy with the result."
