"Hi, it's my first post.

"Hi, it's my first post. I'm thinking of getting a new boat and I'm looking for input on the F250 vs. the Vmax 250. I have a Merc Verado 250 on my current boat and it has made oil and I'm stuggling to get it repaired. I've seen a couple of posts where the Yamaha F series engines make oil as well and I'm leery of getting into the same situation. Are the VMax engines more reliable? How do they compare from a performance perspective?

My brother works on ferrys tha

My brother works on ferrys that run two verado's on the back and they are getting over two thousand hours without blowing up. However the my dad has a F225 and its a terrific engine!!
