BF 50A Oil Filter blue or black

I bought a used BF 50A (20

I bought a used BF 50A (2001) this year and just went to winterize and noticed the oil filter I bought was black (Part # 15400-PFB-007) and the one that is installed is BLUE! (Only part number on it is a 5T14). The black one is a little taller and has four metal tabs inside. Which one should I use - the manual is silent on the part number. Thanks!
 
"The Honda Spec book says that

"The Honda Spec book says that the black one you have is the correct one for a 2001 BF50A.

The blue one is probably a 15400-PFB-004 or 15400-PFB-014 which are for Bf50's 2005 and later. They work ok on your motor, but are not the ones the book calls for for that year 50."
