I just have a learning question i winterized my 1985 3.0 merc and my buddy has a 1996 3.0 merc.I winterized mine and his my question is when i opened the exaust drain on mine and filled up my manifold with antifreeze throught the hose mine started to come out of the drain and i closed it and filled up the manifold after making sure there was no obstruction in the drain same with my freinds but when i did my freinds his didnt come out of the drain it mainly came outt of the exhaust hole on the outrive why would mine come out where it was suppossed to and his came out in a diffrent place.I finnaly got some antifreeze to come out at his drain plug but alot came out his exhaust and wasted on the ground i was just wondering for curiosity purposes why it is diffrent.
