"1998 carver 35ft twin 350 cru

"1998 carver 35ft twin 350 crusaders,owner gave me 1 1/2" zincs but they were to big(found out in the middle of a dive job) I THINK they should be 1 1/4" but I'm not sure,can anybody help me before I have to dive in REALLY cold water! thanks,a diver in jersey."

"Isn't there a spot inside the engine compartment where you can have some minimal access to measure the shaft with calipers. V-Drive coupler, stuffing box, etc. I was out today measured 69.2 degrees near the A/C inlet."

"Never tried it but a mate where I used to fish did 'maintenance diving' and he had an assortment of different sized zincs on his weight belt - both shaft and rudder style. He never said but I bet he had cotter pins and prop nuts on the belt, too."
