"My 2006 BF225 is a single engine on my Sea Pro SV2400. The lower unit in counter rotating (left) and doesn't have a trim tab (or a place to put one).

How does the torque of the motor affect a counter rotating prop? Does it not have a trim tab because the prop and the engine offset each other?

No real problems noticed, but the power steering is harder to the left and easier to the right at plane.

Anyone have any experience or knowledge with this setup?
Thanks"

"The counter rotating engines

"The counter rotating engines do not come with a trim tab. It is just a flat plate. I think it is assumed that it will be used with a standard rotation motor in pairs. In fact, it comes with an extra flat plate to put on the standard rotation motor.

Generally, if you have hydraulic steering it doesn't matter. I imagine you could always purchase one and put it on."
