"I talked to my local Honda mechanic today and he had me measure the distance from the water line to the idle port. hard to tell exactly but it seemed to be 3 1/4 inches in a plum line from the very bottom edge of the idle port to the water line. He mentioned that he thought it should be 4". Looking at the mounting points, its at its lowest point (i.e., it couldn't be any lower in the water). Its on a 25ft Premier with the PTX tube in the middle. I'm assuming hes gonna tell me to raise it. We are in the beginnings of trying to diagnose the buzz when idle problem that seems to be related to the O2 sensor (thanks to all who replied to my prior post). He told me it would cost about $200-250 to raise the motor. This sounded kinds high since it looks like you take 2 bolts out and loosen 2 more and lift it up a bit. Any advice is greatly appreciated. Brian."
