"I have a blue wire and a white wire that go's from the magneto to the ignition key, yet I can start the motor without them being conected, what purpuse do they serve? the motor is a 1975, 120hp, 4 cylinder chysler with magpower II"

These wires enable the ignition switch to turn off the motor. They should be connected to the "M" terminals on the switch.
