I have the Multi Port Fuel injected 8.2. Can they be safely fogged? My mechanic says no and wants to remove the fuel filters to put in some kind of upper cylinder lubrication to protect the cylinders from moisture. Seems like a much more labor intensive operation than fogging?

"Scott:

I think you can do it but the technique is different for the MPIs.

I think if you search the crusader postings, you'll find some input from Rick Sweten on this."

I thought I had seen something about this some time ago but when I tried to search for it nothing comes up.

Oh for the love of god... THATS why I recall something on the issue...

I could have just emailed you the "help" text on the search function but figured the link would be more useful....no affront intended

Absolutely none taken... just one of those "senior moments" that just happened to end up on a public forum..
