"I have a 1986 150 J Pro V. Bought used. Boat in Maine use 20 hours a year. New 9.9 Honda kicker. Two cylinders low pressure. Is this engine worth the effort to work on, rebuild? Seems to be reliable and bullet proof. thanks"

I have the exact same motor. I

I have the exact same motor. I had it rebuilt this summer. The only issue was finding Yamaha factory repacement pistons. They were not manufactured at that time and were not going to be made until the fall.
