"I have a '85 Rinker V190 with a 3.8L v6 4v OMC. The engine runs great, however turning the ignition key to the off position does not stop the engine. I have to pull the coil wire to stop it. I tried disconnecting all 3 wires to the ignition switch and it still continues to run. When the engine is not running, the switch seems to work fine (dashboard lights go on/off with key turns). Ignition switch starts engine fine. Do I just have a bad switch to replace or is it something else?"
