This became cloged and I clean

This became cloged and I cleaned out with wire as I have done before. It now only shows speed at half of what it should be. I have tried cleaning out the intake and the wire seems to go to the back of the hole and stop on what appears to be solid surface. Does anyone know where the water exits at? I have tried to find schemetics on line showing this and have not been able to.

"Enters the front of the drive, goes up a tube that connects underneath and at the front of the outdrive (typically not sure on the B3) You can unplug the hose on the back of the speedo and blow air through either by mouth or a high pressure air blower attached to an air compressor (local garage, or from a contractor friends air comp.)"
