I believe that the problem that Michael is going to run into is he is limited to the amount of clearance that he has, and it sounds like he is going to have to retain the flat cap design. But the price of those things are almost as cheap as buying a reman at a parts store"

"Far be it for me to recommend for anyone to buy a unit that is not marine rated.

However my friend did it, not that i would recommend it.

However other sites have people who have dismantled the marine and auto ones and say they exactly the same inside.

My friend has no problem with his unit to this day."
