"Hi i have a carver 37 aft with 2 454 tbi 1996
port was fine but starboard buck or jerck when i put the throttle 60% and up and when it append the check engine light come on first and the other light and beep come on and the rpm drop from 3500 to 2000 aprox after a secon or 2 everything come to normal operationuntil it append
again every 1 or 2 minutes.
I check fuel pressure ok i replace spark plug, wire, Cap ,Rotor , Distributor
i check power and ground wire chaffing nothing found.
So if you have any idea !!\

The computer is getting inputs

The computer is getting inputs that it sees as Not Good. It is then going into 'limp' mode when the RPM drops to 2000.

I'd get a scanner tool on it and find out what input(s) is driving the limmp mode and go from there.
 
I check that with scanner from

I check that with scanner from rhinda tech and i change T P Sensor and this solve the problem
