"Not sure of where to put this, but, here looked good. I have a vibration at low speed from my starboard side. I checked the alignment, feeler guage, pima, and had the prop checked at the shop. Still there. I'm wondering if it could be the shaft. I have a tiny wiggle at the shaft log when I can feel the vibration. This has been an on going issue. Cutlass bearing is also new, and good. This all goes away at higher rpms.....can a shaft be off causing this? and can they be straightened? any thoughts? thanks

"could it be the shaft - yes. but could also be worn out or loose engine mounts. Could also be a worn shaft - new cutlass bearings can't help there.

A good prop shop should be able to check the shaft and straighten it, if needed.

MPI - as in multi-port? If so, who did it and what was used?"

I looked at them....rebuilt both engines for what one MPI cost - installed.

Do you like it? How was it to tune?

Any economy improvement to speak of?

"That's they way to get them.

On the alignment, did you check to see if the shaft was centered in the log?"
