Lose power when Boat get to 3k RPM

"I have a 1993 four winns omc

"I have a 1993 four winns omc king cobra 351. The other day the boat was fine on the way to the lake and then on the way back, I throttle up to get on plane and it will not go more then 3000 RPM.(side notes) the other week the 50 amp breaker tripped, reset and has been fine, also found oil leaking out the oil switch, replaced switch."

"The oil colour is black, also remove one of the spark plugs and it was wet,smelled like fuel. unplugged the Eletronic engine management system and check connections, looked good. Moved choke flap. Had the boat out last night and ran fine. Not sure what cause the problem"

Most low wot rpm issues are fuel system related.

Something floating around in the tank that can intermittently get sucked onto the pickup will drive ya nuts. Shut the engine off, it floats away...."
